Profile

Dr David (Dai) Roberts is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, based at both Musgrave Park Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital.

He undertook his Radiology training in South Wales and subsequently completed a dedicated fellowship in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology in Vancouver, Canada, which imaged many national and international level athletes. His specialist interests are sport injuries and ultrasound guided injections.

Musculoskeletal condition diagnosis using X-ray, CT, MRI and US, and image guided injections including -
• Joint pain and injury imaging, such as shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, foot
• Joint injections
• Back and neck pain imaging, including guided injections for sciatica
• Tendon injuries and injections
• Muscle injuries
• Guided steroid and non-steroid containing injections including hyaluronic acid injections and microtenotomy
