The 3fivetwo Group and the Northern Ireland Sports Forum have this week announced a partnership which will support the health and wellbeing of the Forum’s professional and amateur members.  The healthcare body which owns Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast and Sligo, has recently relaunched its National Sports Injury Clinic, where services will facilitate the rapid recovery of the Forum’s membership base.

Robert Maye, Group Sales Manager of 3fivetwo Group said, “Injury is an inevitable aspect of life as an elite athlete however access to the best treatment post injury or indeed to manage an ongoing healthcare issue can make all the difference to their short- and long-term recovery.  We are already partners with several other sporting organisations and teams including Belfast Giants and the 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic so are delighted to now be working with the Northern Ireland Sports Forum”.

As well as 400 specialists associated with the Group and 5 star clinical facilities, the National Sports Clinic offers, acute care, diagnostics and rehabilitation with a team of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Consultants on site, as well as rapid access to their own GP, Sports Doctor and sports physio, headed by Shea McAleer.

Richard Johnson, Chairperson of NI Sports Forum stated, “With a membership 70 National Governing Bodies and 22 Associate Member bodies, around 480,000 individuals are affiliated to the NI Sports Forum.  We provide support services to our members in many aspects of their work and we’re pleased that this new partnership with the 3fivetwo group will offer them access to the leading-edge services provided by at Kingsbridge.

“Some of Northern Ireland’s best-known sporting heroes like Jonathan Rea, Carl Frampton and Michael Conlon use their facilities as well as many others from nearly every sports discipline in Ireland.  We will be taking the opportunity to explore all that this new partnership has to offer and relaying to our members at our AGM in Malone Golf Club next week,” said Richard.
