Kingsbridge Private Hospital is currently seeking to recruit additional Dual Trained Nurses (adult and paediatric). The successful candidates will join an exemplary Ward team and play an important role in the effective delivery of excellent nursing care to adult and paediatric patients. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team, you will strive to deliver a service with greater emphasis on one-to-one care. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of post-surgical specialties in a relaxed environment with state of the art facilities.

Job Summary:

The post holder will carry responsibility for the assessment of patient care needs and for developing and sustaining the provision of high quality and effective care to all patients at Kingsbridge Private Hospital. The post holder must be experienced in administering care to adults and children and will be confident working within a surgical Ward.

  • Qualifications
  • Registered Paediatric and Adult Nurse.
  • Live NMC membership.
  • Evidence of CPD.
  • Current Child Protection training.
  • ILS and PILS certification, not essential though as training will be provided.
  • Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ post registration experience.
  • Comfortable treating adults and children.
  • Previous post registration experience in the private sector.
  • Special Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Evidence of problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to accept criticism and act constructively.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
