Receptionist

Due to continued expansion, the 3fivetwo Group has created a number of new opportunities. We are currently seeking to recruit a Receptionist to join our busy, fast paced Reception department.

Full time, permanent and maternity post available

Hours:

37.5 per week: Mon – Fri, 9am to 5pm and the occasional Saturday

Responsible to:

Reception Supervisor

Accountable to:

Outpatient Services Manager

  • Qualifications
  • 5 GCSE grades A-C including Maths and English or Equivalent.
  • Word Processing Level 2 Qualification (RSA 2).
  • OCR/RSA Medical Word Processing Level 2 Certificate.
  • Training
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Willingness to undertake training and development, when necessary.
  • Evidence of training in a customer service/reception role.
  • Experience
  • Dealing with members of the public at the ‘front desk’.
  • Dealing with members of the public by telephone.
  • Experience of dealing with difficult customers.
  • Special Knowledge and Skills
  • Understanding of the Data Protection Act and importance of confidentiality.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people via the company telephone and other electronic systems.
  • Ability to work with diversity.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Interest in cosmetic industry.
  • Personal Attributes
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
  • An eye for accuracy and detail when dealing with patient records.
  • Understand the role of teamwork in providing a quality service.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
