>Dr Gary D Wright qualified in Medicine from Queens University Belfast in 1987. His postgraduate training in Rheumatology was in Belfast and Nottingham. <

He is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Queens University Belfast and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, Edinburgh and Ireland and a member of the British Society for Rheumatology.

He is past President of the Irish Society for Rheumatology 2012-2014. He was the Royal College of Physicians of London Regional Advisor for Northern Ireland from 2008-12
