Mr Philip Grieve is a Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma and Hand & Wrist Surgeon in Dublin and Belfast. He offers the most up-to-date treatment options for hand and wrist complaints including wrist arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) and minimally invasive approaches. His fracture practice focuses on early mobilisation protocols and maximising function.

I am an internationally trained trauma & orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery and the complications of such injuries. I have vast experience in not only hand and wrist surgery but also major orthopaedic trauma surgery. I am a member of multiple international hand and wrist societies.

I have a specific interest in minimally invasive hand and upper limb surgery; including keyhole surgery of the hand and wrist. I am an expert in wrist surgery and wrist arthroscopy and lecture internationally on these topics annually. I am also interested in complex wrist disorders, endoscopic nerve releases and arm pain with "normal" investigations. In addition to my hand, wrist and trauma interests.

I am active in clinical leadership, having a Professional Diploma in Clinical Leadership from the RCSI. In addition to my board certification in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery I am doubly certified as I am a Fellow of the European Board of Hand Surgery. I am also a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (RCSI, RCPI). I am committed to teaching and hold an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer title at the RCSI. I am active in research on hand and wrist related problems.
