Enjoy All Star Healthcare For Your Local Team

14th, Oct 2024

Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group were delighted to be the title sponsor of the Irish News Ulster All-Star Awards this year, celebrating another incredible year of outstanding performances across Men’s and Ladies Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie.

60 All-Star awards were handed out across the four codes as well as four Player of the Year Awards, “From all of us across the Group, we want to say a massive well done to the All-Stars of 2024! Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group is proud that many of our employees have a connection with the GAA community. Naturally, we were delighted to be part of the celebrations with staff who play, coach, or provide medical assistance for their local clubs and counties in attendance on the night. We wish all players and teams the very best of luck as they continue to train and compete across Ulster.” - Mark Regan, CEO of Kingsbridge Healthcare Group

In line with being title sponsors, Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group launched their new and dedicated sports membership for GAA and sports clubs across Ireland. Registered members of the Kingsbridge Sports Membership will be able to avail of preferential rates on private healthcare services as well as a range of additional benefits which can also be extended to family and friends.

How does it work?

Registration to the Kingsbridge Sports Membership for you or your club is completely FREE. Once registered, all members will be able to avail of sports rates across physiotherapy and MRI, discounts on treatments and surgery, rapid access to same day x-ray, referrals, and our minor injury clinic, as well as access to a Kingsbridge Sports Fund. The Kingsbridge Sports Fund is an added benefit which will allow clubs to apply for grant awards. This will help to provide financial support for equipment, training, and other necessary resources, should they meet the criteria.

An essential aspect and a common interest throughout the GAA community is to support the health and wellbeing of our members. In doing so we offer talks and pop-up events which feature our very own healthcare specialists discussing important topics from healthy eating, cancer awareness, health checks, mental health focus’ and so much more.

Another prime benefit of the sports membership is the variety of resources and services that can be accessed easily through an online portal. Members can contact our GPs and Physiotherapists with our ‘Ask a Specialist a Question’ feature and are kept updated regularly with useful information around health and upcoming events which they can avail of.

“Many of us across the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group have a connection with the GAA, including myself and my physio colleagues. I’m originally from Donegal and I grew up playing for Carndonagh, since moving to Belfast I now play for St. Galls. I will always love being a part of the GAA community and play when and where I can. At Kingsbridge Physiotherapy Clinic we understand first-hand how important it is for ease of access to healthcare when an injury occurs, or for injury prevention. The sports membership is a great way to gain preferential rates on private healthcare where you can also be seen quicker, meaning a faster recovery should you need it!” - Cathal O’Kane, Sports Physiotherapist at Kingsbridge Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic
