I am a Vascular trained Surgeon now specialising solely in the management of venous disease. I dedicate my entire time in the NHS and the Independent Sector to the assessment and treatment of veins and their complications.
I am a venous specialist and all the treatments I offer are performed under local anaesthetic in a day case setting. I also offer assessment and advice on varicose veins, venous complications and clots.
I am currently the Clinical Chair for the NHS delivery of Varicose Vein services in Northern Ireland. I sit on the Board of the British Association of Sclerotherapists and I am also an active member of the Venous Forum of the Royal Society of Medicine. I am a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) and a member of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound and the Society of Vascular Technologists of Great Britain and Ireland.

Consultant Surgeon Western Trust
I was born, schooled and went to University in Birmingham. I completed my junior and higher surgical training in the West Midlands. I also spent 2 years training outside the West Midlands Deanery; I spent one year in South Africa and a year in the latter part of my training in Belfast. During my time in Belfast I met my wife and we subsequently settled in Derry, where I have lived and worked since 2004. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife, 3 children and our extended families.
