Sarah is a Mummy MOT Practitioner specialising in all areas of postnatal recovery.
Sarah graduated from Ulster in 2018 with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy. She went on to complete a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine working alongside Ulster Rugby for her research project. Sarah began working within musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2018 and became an APPI certified Matwork Pilates Instructor in 2020. Since then she has completed a range of further pilates training including pre and postnatal pilates and reformer level 1-3. Through this Sarah gained a keen interest in pre and postnatal conditions, particularly postnatal rehabilitation.
Sarah went on to complete the Mummy MOT Practitioner Training Course which is a specific postnatal assessment focusing on all aspects of women’s health including urinary leakage, diastasis rectus abdominus assessment and rehabilitation and pelvic organ prolapse. Women can avail of this assessment from 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery and 8 weeks following c section. It is never too late to have a Mummy MOT and if any mums are struggling with the symptoms associated with prolapse or incontinence they should get assessed.
