Dr. Roger H Brown

Dr. Brown was a GP for 22 years in Helensburgh in the West of Scotland until returning home to Northern Ireland in 2013 to work at Kingsbridge Private Hospital Belfast for 3 years full time.

Dr. Brown returned to full time NHS practice for 5+ years before then returning to work in the Kingsbridge family at the Kingsbridge Northwest Hospital in Ballykelly.

He has a special interest in men's health, joint and trigger point injections and minor surgery. He also always had an interest in sports injuries, and currently provides some medical cover for Coleraine FC home matches.

Current NHS Post

Dr Brown just relinquished a full time GP post in Ballymoney, but continues to work for the out-of-hours service at Dalriada Urgent care and for the Northern GP Federation in the GP elective surgical care service – 1-2 sessions per month.

Personal profile

Dr. Brown has been married for over 30 years with four grown-up children and a menagerie of animals at his home on the outskirts of Coleraine.

He also has interests in sports (only watching now) including Rugby, Football, NFL, Golf and Tennis and interests in classic cars, He enjoys getting away for short trips in his motor home.
